About the classes

Each class offers a nurturing mix of Align & Flow, Restorative and Yin yoga — designed to support your whole body and mind.

You’ll move mindfully, release tension, and finish feeling calm, grounded, and refreshed.

These classes are:

Yoga Class Descriptions

  • If you feel run down or just need to re-energise to find your focus and wind down, this is for you. You’ll build your flexibility whilst calming the mind and re-connect with your breath after a stressful day. With the use of props to support you, you will create a relaxed environment giving your body a complete rest. You will feel so relaxed that you will find yourself sleeping peacefully at night.

    Benefits

    Restorative yoga gives you a deep relaxation for both body and mind as it affects the parasympathetic nervous system known as the relaxation response. It will leave you refreshed and reduce anxiety, headaches, tension in your body and improve your sleep quality. You will feel calmer and more centred as well as improving your overall wellbeing.

  • If you feel tense and have been sitting at the desk for hours, yin yoga can help you release the tension from a stressful day. We focus on stretching, targeting the deeper connective tissues of the body such as joints, ligaments and the bones and holding each pose for 3-5 mins. Deep breathing through these poses will help you to focus and relax into the more challenging poses. Props can be used to support your bones to help the muscles relax.

    Benefits

    Yin yoga improves the energy flow to help with circulation and flexibility. It reduces stress and helps calm mind and body. Holding each pose for longer helps stretch the connective tissues to make them longer and stronger which has positive effects on our general health and how we move around.

  • A more dynamic practice with vinyasa and slower flow but you can still build up a sweat. A great all rounded class suitable for beginners and the intermediate student. Includes stretching, strengthening, balancing, breathing with a relaxation at the end. Focusing on alignment so you will have a safe practice and get the most out of your class and feel at your best. Modifications of each pose are demonstrated, and we use props to help you achieve your outcome.

    Benefits

    Moving through a sequence of poses requires concentration, focus and deep breathing, it’s like a moving meditation. This will help you relieve stress and calming your body as you are fully concentrated on each pose. Having a great alignment and a stable foundation allows you to practice safely and reduce any possible risk of injury. This practice will increase your strength and flexibility while giving you a good workout as well a relaxing feeling at the end. A great combination, keeping your mind and body in balance.
